Heavy-vehicle load-restraint certification

Independent engineering assessment and certification for heavy machinery, equipment and unusual or high-consequence loads.

You receive a practical loading plan or restraint diagram, plus a signed engineering certificate for the defined arrangement.

Where independent load-restraint certification adds value

Engineering certification is particularly valuable where a qualified engineer's assessment against loading-performance standards provides stronger operational assurance and clear evidence for Chain of Responsibility parties.

What you receive

The standard deliverable is a practical loading plan, restraint schedule or restraint diagram, clear loading and restraint instructions for drivers, loaders and operators, and a signed engineering certificate for the defined arrangement.

Engineering calculations remain Timestep's internal working documents unless included in the accepted quotation.

Certification against heavy-vehicle loading requirements

LoadVerify assesses and certifies the defined load-restraint system against the applicable legal loading requirements and loading-performance standards. The resulting loading plan and engineering certificate provide a clear restraint method for drivers, loaders and operators and can form part of the systems and controls used by Chain of Responsibility parties to ensure loads are transported safely and securely.

Certification applies to the defined load, vehicle, restraint equipment, placement and operating conditions assessed.

Tell us about the load

Send us a brief description of the machine or equipment, the vehicle or trailer being used and the proposed transport arrangement. We will confirm what additional information is required โ€” including load mass and centre of gravity, restraint equipment and anchor points, and load placement.

Drawings and confidential technical documents can be exchanged through an approved secure method after initial contact.

Additional services available where required

How it works

  1. STEP 1

Send a short enquiry about the load and transport arrangement.

  2. STEP 2

Timestep confirms the defined scope, inputs and any separately quoted work.

  3. STEP 3

The restraint arrangement is analysed and documented against loading-performance standards.

  4. STEP 4

You receive the loading plan, restraint information and signed engineering certificate.

Frequently asked questions

What does LoadVerify certify?
We assess and certify a defined load-restraint system for a particular load, vehicle and restraint arrangement against the applicable heavy-vehicle loading requirements and loading-performance standards.
When should I engage a load-restraint engineer?
Engineering certification is particularly valuable for unusual, heavy, high-value or repeated machinery movements and custom restraint arrangements requiring a clear, validated loading plan.
What do I receive?
A practical loading plan, restraint schedule or restraint diagram and a signed engineering certificate for the defined arrangement.
Can one certification cover repeat movements?
Yes, where the load, vehicle, restraint equipment, placement and relevant operating conditions remain within the certified arrangement.
What information is needed for a quote?
A brief description of the machine or load, the vehicle or trailer and the proposed transport arrangement is enough to start.
Is this NHVR certification?
No. LoadVerify provides independent engineering certification against the applicable loading requirements. NHVR does not issue or endorse the certificate.
